Letter to William Boyd Allison : Washington, D.C. 1906 April 12

Headed "Personal." Letter concerning the matter of railroad rates in which he argues in favor of "the proposition to forbid the courts from granting temporary injunctions." He argues that two separate amendments should be made so that if the banning of temporary injunctions should be declared unconstitutional, the entire bill would not be in jeopardy. Includes a White House envelope marked "Personal and immediate."
